Application Deadline Nears for Superintendent Search
The district is currently working on its search with the New England School Development Council.
This Friday marks the application deadline for prospective superintendent candidates for Windham's SAU 95, which will begin operating in July 2013.
The school district is working with the New England School Development Council to select a replacement for Dr. Henry LaBranche, who is currently serving in the role on an interim basis until a hire is made.
With Windham splitting from Pelham in the current SAU 28, both districts were faced with the need to make a hire. Pelham did so in September, hiring from within when it named Amanda Lecaroz, who served under LaBranche as an assistant superintendent.
Once the application deadline passes, the timeline until someone is hired in Windham will see a lot of activity.
The following tasks on the timeline remain, leading up to the selection of a superintendent in mid-January.
