Men Were Seeking Money in Home Invasion, Victim Says

The Union Leader reported the news today.

Two armed men who carried out a home invasion on Glance Road in April 2012 were seeking money from the homeowner, according to the Union Leader.

Luis Carvalho, 33, of Taunton, Mass. was the only man arrested in the incident after he was apprehended by Windham Police in the woods.

He and another unidentified man tied up a 20-year-old woman, Samantha Gervais, during the incident.

Michael Napier, the homeowner, is now facing drug charges in U.S. District Court in Boston, according to the paper. He was among a dozen suspects arrested by federal authorities following a lengthy investigation into a marijuana distribution ring.

Carvalho's trial is currently stalled after a material witness refused to testify last month.
