Ovide Event Postponed Due to AFC Championship

The meet and greet with the gubernatorial candidate will take place in the spring.

For those who were looking to get a little face time with 2012 gubernatorial candidate Ovide Lamontagne before the Patriots on Sunday, it's going to have to wait until the snow melts a bit.

The campaign announced that the meet and greet, scheduled for a Windham house party on Granite Hill Road, has been postponed to a later date in the spring. This was done to accommodate for the 3 p.m. AFC Championship start.

Initially, the time was changed to allow residents to do both, but a second notice was sent out pushing the appearance back altogether.

Lamontagne. He joined N.H. House Speaker William O' Brien at a reception hosted by Peter and Cara Zohdi.

There, he called the political leaders of Windham and Salem "warriors" before a crowd of residents.

"If I can ever have the honor of serving the people of New Hampshire, I'll be a governor for you that will fight for you and work with them," said Lamontagne during the late September appearance.
