Weather permitting, President Obama is expected to fly into New Hampshire shortly after noon today for an appearance in Nashua. And while many are excited by his visit, there are those who are less enthused.
Among them are House Republican leaders. In a statement issued Wednesday, House Speaker William O'Brien, R-Mont Vernon, said Obama needs to apologize to New Hampshire Catholics for his administration's contraception mandate.
O'Brien is supporting a resolution calling for the rescinding of the policy, according to the Union Leader, in addition to a bill that would allow employers to refuse to pay for contraception coverage on the grounds of a religious objection.
What do you think? Should the President apologize to New Hampshire Catholics for his contraception mandate? Vote in our poll below, and leave a comment with your thoughts.

The prejudice is so apparent that I am amazed that so many voters would say yes to standing with such a bigoted policy, not race this time but core supporters of the church against everyone else and men against women.

It saves money, it saves lives, and it's good for women.
What this is really about is some Republican agenda telling you how to feel, because this has been going on for quite a long time, and it's only now that we have a bunch of crybaby right-wingers whining about it. I don't see anyone complaining about any men's health items.

MANY AMERICAN WOMEN USE BIRTH CONTROL PILLS FOR NONCONTRACEPTIVE REASONS
One-Third of Teen Users Rely on the Pill Exclusively for These Purposes
The most common reason U.S. women use oral contraceptive pills is to prevent pregnancy, but 14% of pill users—1.5 million women—rely on them exclusively for noncontraceptive purposes. The study documenting this finding, “Beyond Birth Control: The Overlooked Benefits of Oral Contraceptive Pills,” by Rachel K. Jones of the Guttmacher Institute, also found that more than half (58%) of all pill users rely on the method, at least in part, for purposes other than pregnancy prevention—meaning that only 42% use the pill exclusively for contraceptive reasons.

You are right they should decide for their own selves..like decide not to engage in sex if they don't want to get pregnant, once that happens there is no longer a choice, there is now another life involved.. perhaps it is time you folks stop denying that fact and realize that it is murder.. nah, you want convenience no matter the millions of babies you kill in pursuit of it..oh and abortion comes with lots of complications too, death of the child, tearing up of the womans body, immense guilt to and damage to the mental health of the woman.. in fact of the two, one is natural and one is an abomination..go figure the difference

You brought it up, how is it you have nothing to say on it? All that outrage, and you cannot even describe what it is?
Let me drag you through the thinking process, kicking and screaming.
The stories about the tornadoes in the Bible Belt are filled with matters of faith. They talk about people going over to each others houses and mobile homes to pray together and wait out the storm. They leave everything up to their god. The trouble is, there is no god, so the tornado causes mass destruction and smites those who would pray against it.
There is irony in this, and the radio host is calling attention to it. The very people who think of natural disasters and natural comeuppance to those who would act outside of the boundaries of their faith are themselves destroyed by that same disaster. On are they to think? The radio host is pointing out that fact and how their reliance on god during a storm has disastrous consequences. I can tell you that if I had children, I would not be seeking out the nearest mobile home to pray in. I would have a storm plan that involved a real shelter to protect my family. The fact that some people are so blinded by faith that they lose their children, their families, and their homes is a tragedy. It's sad. It's neglectful. And it highlights that tornadoes are an act of mother nature, not god (s).
ForThePeople
7:11 pm on Monday, March 5, 2012
That particular radio host, there's a lot to say about him, but what you have here is false outrage. People are trying to draw connections between him and Rush Limbaugh, who openly called all women on birth control sluts and prostitutes, and demanded tapes of their sexual activities. It's apples and oranges. Often, you see Republicans trying to draw these weird connections between events, much like you are doing with this radio host and much like Rush Limbaugh did with birth control. Glenn Beck made a whole TV show with a chalkboard famous for drawing connections between ideas that have nothing to do with each other.
You want to know what's sad? The fact is, these conservatives who do these shows are entertainers, they're most likely smarter than you, richer than you, and they control the game in ways you have never imagined. They know all about you, they research you, and they make it their job to know how to motivate you. And so how do they motivate you? Well, you need only look at the content of their programming. They talk about immigrants, blaming Mexicans for taking your jobs. They talk about homosexuals ruining marriage. They talk about liberals ruining religion or spending money on "lazy" people (do you know which prejudice I'm referring to?). All kinds of things that are designed to get you angry, getting scared, get you feeling outrage against groups of people.

And is not true. It really isn't. The chalkboard is a lie. Unfortunately, there are lots of people that cannot perform research across sources, are not able to look within themselves and analyze, not able to see the game. Instead, their senses are dulled by religion, by Rush Limbaugh, by Glenn Beck, by Michele Bachmann, by Fox news… because it's a whole lot easier to hate other people and to realize what a complicated world we live in. It's a whole lot easier to do that than to love and accept each other for who we are and try to make this country better for everyone.

First of all, nobody ever said she was "naive". She's a very smart, articulate, educated woman. I don't know much about her personal life. I don't care. It's irrelevant. Secondly, I have no idea what you're talking about as far as "...the person that was scheduled to speak had been vetted as outlined by the rules of the house. He was dropped and she was put in place." Not that it would make one bit of difference regarding Limbaugh's commentary, anyway, but you might have included a link.
Third, she testified on behalf of a friend who had been denied contraceptives intended to treat polycystic ovarian syndrome - and lost an ovary as a result. 14% of women take contraceptives for issues totally unrelated to birth control http://www.guttmacher.org/media/nr/2011/11/15/index.html
Forth, Rush said far more than the now-infamous "two words": She's having so much sex she can't walk straight." "Can you imagine if you’re her parents, how proud of Sandra Fluke you would be?" "...she’s having so much sex she can’t afford her own birth control pills..." "We want you to post (her sex) videos online so we can all watch".
Finally, this guy hates women. One can understand how he's got 3 failed marriages behind him. He's a bully, and you support him. You don't have much company. His favorability rating is a whopping 19% http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-503544_162-4872622-503544.html

I love Bill Maher. No doubt what he said was nasty - and the fact that he said it about a VERY nasty, narcissistic politician / reality tv star / highly paid FOX pundit / author who bathes in the public spotlight doesn't matter - it's still nasty.
It is different, though. Sandra Fluke was merely a citizen testifying before Congress (I don't give a tinker's damn what her politics are, or what activism she engages in - it's her business). She doesn't have a platform to respond the way Simple Sarah does. In addition, Maher's show is on HBO to paying subscribers who want the programming. It doesn't go out over the airwaves to anybody with a radio. But yes, still nasty.

This bastard lies with wild abandon (and I wonder how many of his listeners know that - or care). He makes crap up - and he's certainly allowed to do that, because it's a SHOW. It's an infotainment program. There are no fact checkers. No umpires. The poor dopes listening to him believe they are being informed. They're not conscious of the fact that whatever they "learn" from listening is entirely up to Rush. I'd be willing to bet very few of his listeners ever try to verify his facts from other sources. --In Mississippi only 12% of GOP voters think Obama’s a Christian to 52% who think he’s a Muslim and 36% who are not sure. In Alabama just 14% think Obama’s a Christian to 45% who think he’s a Muslim and 41% who aren’t sure.
---Alabama’s pretty much on board with interracial marriage, with 67% of voters thinking it should be legal to 21% who think it should not be. There’s still some skepticism in Mississippi though- only 54% of voters think it should be legal, while 29% believe it should be illegal. Newt cleans up with the ‘interracial marriage should be illegal’ crowd in both states. He’s up 40-27 on Romney with them in Mississippi and 37-28 with them in Alabama.TT
---There’s considerable skepticism about evolution among GOP voters in both Alabama and Mississippi. In Alabama only 26% of voters believe in it, while 60% do not. In Mississippi just 22% believe in it, while 66% do not. Romney wins the ‘voters who believe in evolution’ vote (33-27 over Gingrich in Alabama, 38-32 over Gingrich in Mississippi.) Santorum wins the ‘voters who don’t believe in evolution’ vote (34-33 over Gingrich in both Alabama and Mississippi with Romney at 26%)

You must blindly accept the Bible by faith. Remember that an open mind is the devil's favorite toy. When you open your mind, Satan jumps right into your head and will show you countless contradictions, inconsistencies, absurdities and downright silliness present throughout the Good Book.
It is important that we not exercise any rational thought when reading the Bible, for such tends to make God look bad and the whole book look like something even Mother Goose would reject. After all, it was God's first published work, and there were no publication houses with editorial departments when it was written.
The Shill

Even God recognizes how outrageous and misanthropic is His first best seller, especially Paul's outrageous writings that condemn so many. The Bible tells us that its every word was inspired by God, Himself (2 Timothy 32:16). God knew Paul's ridiculous rantings (which He inspired) would make no sense, so He actually went to great pains to warn us that those who try to understand Paul's logic do so 'unto their own destruction' (2 Peter 3:16). God also knew that people would start to 'interpret' the Bible into something that wasn't so hateful and violent if given the chance, so He had John write near the end that anyone who adds or withdraws a single statement from the Bible (or at least its last book) will be destroyed (Revelation 22:18-19). Needless to say, God shuns philosophers and free thinkers, describing them as essentially evil (Colossians 2:8-9).
The bottom line is that, in order to have any real shot at Heaven, we must believe every word of the Bible and all its incredible pronouncements. The only way a rational person can believe such jibberish is to accept it by faith, without question. We must turn off our brains. Fortunately for many of the participants here, they were born with very little brain power in the first instance, hence blind deference isn't difficult for them.

Was Jesus Christ a Liberal Socialist?
If by “liberal socialist” one refers to a person who seeks to serve his fellow man with compassion and charity, and who spends his life voluntarily clothing the naked, feeding the hungry, liberating the captive, educating the ignorant, and caring for the sick and afflicted, then yes, Jesus Christ was a liberal socialist and we should all strive to be liberal socialists.
If being a liberal socialist means striving to attain just and equitable society, a society where there are no rich or poor, where all men are treated equally, then Jesus Christ was a liberal socialist.
If liberal socialism means to give of our talents and substance to serve and uplift others, then Jesus Christ was a liberal socialist.
Matthew 25:34-46
35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:
36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?
38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?
40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

In any case, all these figures are widely suspected to be grossly underestimated. For example, the late Fr. Tom Economus, former President of the Linkup, a national survivors' advocacy group, said back in the mid-90s that he knew of "1,400 insurance claims on the books and that the Church has paid out over $1 billion in liability with an estimated $500 million pending." (Emphasis added.)
He also said that over 800 priests had been removed from ministry and that there might be as many as 5,000 with allegations against them, which is not that far off. He often claimed that by far the most calls he received from all victims of any kind of clergy abuse were those from males who suffered abuse in their youth in the Catholic Church. Certainly the numbers, which show that the highest number of victims were 12 year old boys and that 80% of the abuse was homosexual in nature, validate that anecodotal evidence, too. In fact, while the numbers of young children and girls did not vary much, the report shows an astounding six-fold increase in the abuse of boys aged 11-17 between the 1950s and 70s. And the figures for males stayed high through the 1980s.

Yes, let's be specific. The problem is with the Christian right-wing imposing their beliefs. At one side of their mouth they claim all holiness, and on the other it's nothing but oppression and hatred. It's not Christianity itself, for that is only an idea, it's the people practicing it on the right-wing using it to further their agenda.
This is not a new concept. It's been done for years. Look at the Crusades. How about the witch trials? How about the plague? How about the Inquisition? How about women's suffrage? How about civil rights? How about the world being flat? How about homophobia in New Hampshire? The Christian right-wing has been late to the party every single time. That's my complaint.
As it relates to Islam, I don't see where it fits in this conversation. You are just deflecting the blame. That's not an endorsement of any religion, it's a condemnation of right-wing crazies in this country who abuse citizens over and over again for centuries. I'm calling you out. I have news for you: Islam is against gay marriage, teaching contraception, etc. too. You are all cowards and more importantly, hypocrites. You want to dismiss the dangers of Islam in this country because you do not see them as a threat. Google: "Sharia law in the U.S." 7.2 million hits. You think Islam is not pushing "garbage" on us? You are not paying attention. Go ahead, stand up and condemn Islam and you put yourself and your family in danger. Stand up and condemn conservative christians and all you get is laughed at. Even if you anonymously, and from safe distance, condemn the teachings of Islam you are criticized for hate speech. To you, hate is OK when directed at conservative christians, though. HYPOCRITES.

"You want to equate Christian conservative's pushing for a ban on teaching homosexuality in the public schools to the institutionalized bigotry and hate that is Islam."
What if we don't care for Christianity OR Islam?
As I've already posted, it's wacko CHRISTIANS that have taken over the GOP, NOT Islam. There are hundreds of stupid religions around the world. Personally, I don't have time to worry about them all. I'm concerned with the one that has infiltrated Washington D.C.
"Dominionism has become a major influence on the right-wing populist Tea Parties as Christian Right activists have flooded into the movement at the grassroots. At the same time, legitimate questions have been raised about whether or not potential Republican presidential nominees Rick Perry, Michelle Bachmann, or Sarah Palin have moved from a generic form of Christian Right Dominionism toward the more totalitarian form know as Dominion Theology."

Article II of the Constitution states: "No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption lunecy of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States."
But it leaves “natural born citizen” open to interpretation and most have interpreted this as natural law - that you inherit your citizenship from your parents.
It also doesn’t address whether one or both parents must be U.S. citizens for their children to be citizens, but most interpretations say one is enough.
"Most scholars, including me, believe that natural born citizenship extends further, to all of those who obtain citizenship at birth by law," writes Gabriel "Jack" Chin in a CNN.com opinion piece. "If this argument is right, then even if Obama had been born overseas, he is still a natural born citizen, because he obtained citizenship at birth through his mother who unquestionably was a U.S. citizen."

The indoctrination of the young is a primary focus of the religiously deluded. The delusion can only continue with the constant inclusion of new blood (and crackers). That’s why the churches are so involved with education. It really is no better than Hogwarts, at least the Harry Potter saga is a positive story with a moral message that doesn’t involve the promotion of genocide and slavery, not to mention female submission. Seems to me that the churches run schools to serve two purposes, they being: a steady supply of fresh flesh for the perverted priests to play with and immature minds to sell their rubbish to. To keep the con going, they need the kids. They admit that if they’re not got by age 14, they won’t be got at all.

A study by NYU and UCLA published in the Journal Nature Neuroscience shows liberals have a greater cognitive ability to problem solve and cope with changing conditions than conservatives who are more "persistent and structured" and are more reliant on "habitual responses." From the study:
"Liberalism was associated with stronger conflict-related anterior cingulate activity, suggesting greater neurocognitive sensitivity to cues for altering a habitual response pattern."
Essentially, conservatives tend to rely on ‘persistence’ in a ‘habitual response pattern,’ despite signals that this response pattern should change

SHALL WE HIRE A MONUMENT ENGRAVER TO GO TO ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY AND ADD THE MISSING WORDS?
THIS IS A MESSAGE FROM AN APPALLED OBSERVER:
Today I went to visit the new World War II Memorial in Washington , DC . I got an unexpected history lesson. Because I'm a baby boomer, I was one of the youngest in the crowd. Most were the age of my parents, Veterans of 'the greatest war,' with their families. It was a beautiful day, and people were smiling and happy to be there. Hundreds of us milled around the memorial, reading the inspiring words of Eisenhower and Truman that are engraved there.
On the Pacific side of the memorial, a group of us gathered to read the words President Roosevelt used to announce the attack on Pearl Harbor:
(contunued in next pane.)
Jcarn
4:55 pm on Friday, March 16, 2012
'Yesterday, December 7, 1941--a date which will live in infamy--the United States of America was suddenly and deliberately attacked.'
One elderly woman read the words aloud:
'With confidence in our armed forces, with the abounding determination of our people, we will gain the inevitable triumph.'
But as she read, she was suddenly turned angry. 'Wait a minute,' she said, 'they left out the end of the quote. They left out the most important part. Roosevelt ended the message with 'so help us God.'
'I know I'm right,' she insisted. 'I remember the speech.' The two looked dismayed, shook their heads sadly and walked away.
Listening to their conversation, I thought to myself, 'Well, it has been over 50 years; she's probably forgotten.'
I went home and pulled out the book my book club is reading --- 'Flags of Our Fathers' by James Bradley. It's all about the battle at Iwo Jima .
I haven't gotten too far in the book. It's tough to read because it's a graphic description of the WWII battles in the Pacific.
But right there it was on page 58. Roosevelt 's speech to the nation ends in 'so help us God.'
The people who edited out that part of the speech when they engraved it on the memorial could have fooled me. I was born after the war! But they couldn't fool the people who were there. Roosevelt 's words are engraved on their hearts.
Now I ask: 'WHO GAVE THEM THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE WORDS OF HISTORY?????????'

Have any of you ever read the Koran? I know from the posts on here none of you have ever read the bible but how can you comment on sharia law when you don't even know what those laws are? Do you even know the 613 commandmants in your own bible? Most Christians think there were only 10 commandments and leave out the other 603 laws that God gave the Israelites in the old testament. If you dont believe me ask anyone of the jewish faith the can tell you. blatant hypocrisy among conservatives, Many of the draconian rules found in Islamic law are also found in the Bible, which many Republicans want to use to craft civil law. Republicans want to impose laws according to the Bible. People should therefore be executed for breaking the Sabbath, blasphemy, homosexuality, adultery, sex before marriage (for women), among other offenses. What most of you dnn't realize is the Sharia law you so despise come from the laws form your God given to Moses in your bible. For once try to get your information correct and not repeate eveythig you hear on Fox News.

The key in your post ( the one you are apparently top blind to see) is there is indeed a separation between Jewish law and the ten commandants. You are correct about the amount of laws, The thing is..are you an Israelite?. No..and neither is the modern Jew. If you had any understanding of scripture you would understand why those laws were put into place. You would acknowledge that, they were placed there in preparation of the coming Christ, thus you would understand why most of them are ritualistic in nature and have no modern validity to the believer in Christ, be they Jew or Gentile

I don't see any muslims spewing hate and bigotry on here only so called Christians. If your religious view can't hold up to the facts that I have posted here that is not my fault. You call yourselves Christians but in the end you are not Christian. . Just calling yourself a Christian does not make you a Christian following the teachings and living your life as Christ would makes you a Christian and you do not fit that description. Those who are Christians in name only will try to blend in with other Christians (at least when it is convenient or advantageous for them to do so). They will make the claim to be Christians, though we know that it is possible to claim the proper name, but in reality be dead (Revelation 3:1).

These individuals may assemble with the church, even keep their Christian friends. But their devotion to God is superficial and shallow. Those who attempt to be Christians in name only have missed the point about what it means to be a Christian. The term Christian is more than a name, it is also a description of the one who wears it. The term means Christ-like and should describe everyone who wears the name. So-called Christians totally abandoned the most fundamental teaching of Jesus: do unto others as you would have them do unto you. A teaching so simple, yet, so profound. Every time you criticize someone on here you are criticizing Jesus him self you are telling your god what a horrible Christian you really are.
“Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’ They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’ Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” Matthew 25:41-46

Edward, thanks for admitting that the speech does indeed end with the words "so help us God." So why are those four simple words omitted from the memorial.
Why is Obama so adamant about not including FDR's famous D-Day prayer to the memorial. Liberals are such revisionists. That prayer gave comfort and solace to the brave men who charged the beaches that day. Obama can publicly proclaim that the muslim call to prayer is the most beautiful sound in the world but bans the inclusion of FDR's prayer at the very memorial designed to commemorate the extinction of Hitler? Shameful but not unexpected. It is all part of the assault this administration has waged against christians. He is even opposed to the inclusion if private funds are used! Sick.

5 “And when you pray, you shall not be like the hypocrites. For they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. 6 But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.[a] 7 And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words.
8 “Therefore do not be like them. For your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him. 9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.[b]
14 “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

They were explicitly Christian terrorist in ideology, basing their beliefs on a "religious foundation" in Christianity. The goals of the KKK included, from an early time on, an intent to "reestablish Protestant Christian values in America by any means possible," and believe that "Jesus was the first Klansman." Their cross-burnings were conducted not only to intimidate targets, but to demonstrate their respect and reverence for Jesus Christ, and the lighting ritual was steeped in Christian symbolism, including the saying of prayers and singing of Christian hymns. Many modern Klan organizations, such as the Knights Party, USA, continue to focus on the Christian supremacist message, asserting that there is a "war" on to destroy "western Christian civilization."

During the twentieth century, members of extremist groups such as the Army of God began executing attacks against abortion clinics and doctors across the United States.A number of terrorist attacks were attributed to individuals and groups with ties to the Christian Identity and Christian Patriot movements, including the Lambs of Christ. A group called Concerned Christians were deported from Israel on suspicion of planning to attack holy sites in Jerusalem at the end of 1999, believing that their deaths would "lead them to heaven." The motive for anti-abortionist Scott Roeder murdering Wichita doctor George Tiller on May 31, 2009 was a belief that abortion is criminal and immoral, and that this belief went "hand in hand" with his religious beliefs.[70][71] The Centennial Olympic Park bombing in 1996, as well as subsequent attacks on an abortion clinic and a lesbian nightclub, were made by Eric Robert Rudolph; Michael Barkun, a professor at Syracuse University, considers Rudolph to likely fit the definition of a Christian terrorist, whereas James A. Aho, a professor at Idaho State University, argues instead that Rudolph was inspired only in part by religious considerations.

Hutaree was a Christian militia group based in Adrian, Michigan. In 2010, after an FBI agent infiltrated the group, nine of its members were indicted by a federal grand jury in Detroit on charges of seditious conspiracy to use of improvised explosive devices, teaching the use of explosive materials, and possessing a firearm during a crime of violence. Terrorism scholar Aref M. Al-Khattar has listed The Covenant, The Sword, and the Arm of the Lord, Defensive Action, The Freemen Community, and some "Christian militia" as groups that "can be placed under the category of far-right-wing terrorism" that "has a religious (Christian) component".

Christian Conservatives oppose health care, unemployment benefits, protection from corporations, and the most basic needs for the sole purpose of helping the wealthy. They oppose everything Jesus taught and think that calling themselves Christians gives them the right to suppress the less fortunate with their evil ideology.
In Bible terms, anything opposing god or Jesus is “Satanic.” Satan means “opposition to God” so it is reasonable that so-called Christian Conservatives, who are in opposition to Christ, really work for and serve Satan. A more honest label is “Satanic Conservatives” for their opposition to Jesus’ teachings.
Satan is the father of the lie, and Christian Conservatives embrace lying as a matter of course. Between being consummate liars and selfish, greedy, war mongers, Christian Conservatives prove they really worship and promote Satan’s ideology and NOT Christ’s teachings.
The correct label is Satanic Conservatives, and it is truthful according to the Bible. The lying Christian Conservatives continue to work for Satan while they pretend to love Jesus.
Christian Conservatives would kill Jesus Christ if he showed up today because his teachings are against their satanic beliefs, and no matter how much they lie, Christian Conservative is an oxymoron and synonym for evil Devil worshippers

I have never understood why the Christian Conservatives who claim to be so devout, and even want a Christian theocracy, utterly reject Jesus as a philosopher. On more than one occasion when a Christian Conservative lectured me on how they thought the US is a ‘Christian nation’, I asked them ‘so can i assume you support Jesus’s teachings about helping the poor, feeding the hungry and aiding the sick’? In every instance the Christians responsse to my comment was profanity, and one even threatened me with violence. It is interestung how atheists, agnostics and non-Christians seem to have a much greater understanding and respect for what Jesus actually preached, than what the Right Wing Christians insist he preached. Followers of Jesus SHOULD put helping the poor and the needly at the forefront of their beliefs- Those who turn thier backs on the poor and suffering are NOT followers of jesus Christ.

Is that so? Obama has called for civility, but no he does not give personal phone calls for every event. The reason why this even gets as much play as it does is because the very folks wanting him to return the money are solely interested in him losing the presidency, they're not really that offended that he has the money. If that was the case, any donations from Rush Limbaugh and the free media from Fox news should also be immediately stopped. But that's not happening, right?

Actually, I pointed out what a buffoon he was using actual facts (you wouldn't know what those are, but think of them like evidence of the truth), which wasn't that hard to do. George Bush was a puppet of very rich, powerful people. He was designed to appeal to the Everyman. It's what MTV used to do for pop stars. He wasn't qualified to lead a country.
I know this is hard for you, but when I talk about bigotry and discrimination, that's different than lampooning someone over their political debacles. Did you even look at those articles? They were about portraying Obama as a Muslim and calling him the "N" word, which is nothing less than playing upon people's fears and prejudices. That's different than, let's say, George Bush's "fool me once" quote or any other Bushism.
I know you don't want to see it, you're going to try as hard as you can to bury your head in the sand, but there is a very real problem on the right-wing with bigotry and discrimination. A lot of the Obama hatred is based around it. Most people don't actually follow politics and what people are doing. They just don't. They are insulated in their own lives, and they listen to the people around them for how to feel about something instead of doing their own thinking- doing their own research. Many people will not vote for Obama purely because he is black, and they think he is a Muslim, both of which would be prejudicial.
