Teen Arrested in Major Drug Bust

Marijuana plants on the property had an estimated street value of $18,000.

A Pelham teen was arrested today after police seized drugs and firearms during a morning drug bust.

Justin Godbyr, 19, of Pelham was charged with possession of marijuana, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, manufacturing marijuana, possession of heroin, possession of Suboxone and possession of Lorazepam.

Pelham police conducted a search warrant at 21 Tallant Road in Pelham at approximately 10:30 a.m.

The search warrant, according to a release from the Pelham Police Department, was based on information gathered by police that there was a marijuana grow operation taking place on the residence.

Police located approximately 20 marijuana plants in various stages of growth with an estimated street value of $18,000.

Prescription pills to include Suboxone, Lorazepam and other unidentified pills were also taken from the home, along with small amounts of heroin, percoset and other drug paraphernalia.

Two firearms were also seized on the property – a .22 caliber rifle and a shotgun.

Warrants are forthcoming for two other suspects in the case.
