Christmas Vacation Extended for Windham Students

Here are five things you should know today.

1. At least one more day of Christmas vacation! No word yet on Friday, but Windham students received the gift of snow Thursday morning (meaning an additional day off tacked onto Christmas break!). With a foot of snow possible in the next 24 hours, one more day may very well be added to that total.

2. Follow the storm here! Check back with Windham Patch often Thursday and Friday and follow us on Facebook for all the latest on Windham closings and road conditions.

3. The weatherman says ... Light snow begins the day, but that's expected to quickly transition into heavier snow and wind in the later morning and afternoon. The forecasted high today, according to Weather.com, is 12 degrees, with a 100-percent chance of precipitation and an overnight low of 2 degrees.
