3. PLANNERS ALSO MEET THIS WEEK: The Windham Planning Board will also meet this week. They will convene on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Community Development Department. Discussions include an automobile service and repair shop site plan. 

4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1909, the first race is held at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, now the home of the world's most famous motor racing competition, the Indianapolis 500.
