Mosquito Spraying to Take Place Tonight
Also, recent donations to Searles School & Chapel were accepted Monday.
1. TODAY'S FORECAST:Today will be sunny with a high of 79, followed by mostly clear skies and a low of 53 tonight.
2. MOSQUITO SPRAYING TONIGHT:Be advised that mosquito spraying will take place tonight beginning at 6 p.m. There will be spraying at Tokanel Road, Nashua Road Fields, Rogers Field and Griffin Park. You will have to leave the area when they spray. Any questions, contact the Recreation Office at 965-1208.
3. LATEST WAVE OF DONATIONS TO SEARLES SCHOOL AND CHAPEL: Windham resident Margaret Case this week announced the latest wave of donations received in her fundraising efforts for Searles School and Chapel. A total of $3,768.02 was approved by Windham Selectmen on Monday.
4. THIS DAY IN HISTORY: On this day in 1969, the Woodstock Music Festival opens on a patch of farmland in White Lake, a hamlet in the upstate New York town of Bethel.
