Windham Seeks Minute Taker at $400 a Month

1. Earn $100 a meeting. The Town of Windham is accepting applications for the position of Minute Taker. This position composes meeting minutes of land use board meetings, including the Planning Board and the Zoning Board of Adjustment. Attendance at the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment night meetings is required. The Planning Board meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays and the Zoning Board of Adjustment meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, although the schedule is subject to change.Compensation is $100.00 per meeting, which includes attendance at the meeting and composition of minutes. 3. The weatherman says ... Sunny and seasonable temperatures today, but breezy, according to the National Weather Service. The daytime high is expected to reach 66 while tonight should be partly cloudy with a low of 42.

4. Musical showdown. Manchester-based musician Josh Logan, who plays heavily around Southern New Hampshire, joined Christina Aguilera on Monday night on the Season 5 Premiere of NBC's hit show, 'The Voice.' Logan, who connected with three of the four judges, Aguilera, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine during the blind audition, was left with the task of choosing the judge he wanted to work with. Despite Shelton proclaiming he had a "man-crush" on Logan, and Levine telling him he sounds "a lot like the dude that sings the song." The song was "Too Close" by Alex Clare. Blind auditions continue tonight at 8 p.m.

5. Closed for the day. The Windham Community Development will be closed all day this Wednesday, Sept. 25.
