Community Programs Summer Internship

The Town of Windham is accepting applications for the position of Community Programs Summer Intern. The Intern will work on the Adopt-A-Spot Program and the Community Garden Program, with specific tasks to include monitoring of programs, assisting community participants, monthly reporting, news articles on programs, volunteer acknowledgement and reporting on programs to Town staff and Boards, where applicable.  This position reports to the Community Development Director.

The position is for the months of May-September, with a negotiable start and end dates and flexible hours.  A stipend of $1,200 is available for this position.  Minimum qualifications required:  public speaking, interest in community garden and beautification programs, working with volunteers, writing reports and news articles, computer skills and valid driver’s license.
