Windham Wildcats - 10U Girls Softball District Champions

The Windham 10U Softball team won the District Championship in Salem this weekend going undefeated in pool and tournament play. The girls won 4 games during pool play. They started off with a 7 – 4 victory over Southern NH Gold under the lights on Friday night. Then went on to beat Southern NH Blue 19 -12 and Pelham 10 – 8 on Saturday. They started off Sunday with a big 22 – 9 win over Salem. They entered tournament play as the number one seed and beat Salem 16 – 14 in a close semi-final game. The team showed their perseverance by battling back in the championship game scoring 14 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning to win the championship game vs a tough Southern New Hampshire Gold Team. The girls will now move onto the State Tournament in Londonderry on July 13th and 14th. Great job girls…The coaches and parents are so proud of you!
