Windham to Get 6-10 Inches of Snow Wednesday

A heavy, wet snow is predicted to start early Wednesday morning, which could make the Wednesday morning commute problematic.

Weather forecasters are predicting 6 to 10 inches of snow across most of southern New Hampshire on Wednesday.

The storm will produce heavy, wet snow starting before sunrise, meaning the Wednesday commute could be a nightmare. The snow may mix with sleet and rain on Wednesday afternoon. The evening commute won’t be quite as bad, according to WMUR-TV.

The National Weather Service has already issued a Winter Storm Watch for Hillsborough County and a Hazardous Weather Outlook for Rockingham and Merrimack counties.

Forecasters are saying another large snowstorm could hit the area next weekend, but it’s still too early and the weather pattern could change.
