Congressional Candidate to Speak in Windham

Former state senator hopes to challenge Ann McLane Kuster.

Windham GOP Town Committee Chairman Bruce Breton announced today that former New Hampshire Sen. Gary Lambert will serve as the guest speaker at his his group's Jan. 21 meeting.

Lambert, a Republican from Nashua, is hoping to challenge Democratic incumbent Ann McLane Kuster for New Hampshire's 2nd Congressional District seat.

A former U.S. Marine Colonel who served 34 years with the Corps, Lambert represented Nashua as state senator from 2011-'12. 

"In addition to running his own law practice, Gary is a devoted family man who has been actively involved in numerous civic, religious, and charitable organizations," Breton stated in a release. "Come hear Gary's vision for how he believes he can now best serve the people of New Hampshire as a U.S. Congressman."

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the Windham Senior Center at 2 North Lowell Road.
