Jim Rubens to Address Windham GOP

The Republican U.S. Senate candidate will be the guest speaker at the group's Oct. 15 meeting.

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Jim Rubens will be the guest speaker at next week's Windham GOP Town Committee meeting.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Windham Senior Center at 2 North Lowell Road.

Rubens served two terms in the State Senate and ran for governor in 1998. He chaired the platform committee for the New Hampshire Republican Party in 2000 and served as spokesman and senior policy advisor to former Senator Gordon Humphrey in his 2002 run for governor. 

He was past board president of Headrest, providing substance abuse counseling and a suicide prevention hotline serving New Hampshire and Vermont. He has founded more than a dozen businesses and makes his living as an angel investor in New England technology and health care startups.
