Nancy was an avid reader, often reading a book a day. On several occasions she surprised different family members with concert tickets, the most memorable one being Bruce Springsteen at the Garden. She had a passion for gardening and transformed the yards of both homes, which included some of the most stunning hibiscus. Nancy enjoyed golfing with her husband, watching all the tournaments on TV and participated in the Family Golf Tourney at the 2012 Reunion. But her greatest joy came from her family. Once diagnosed, she refused to let cancer keep her from seeing her son get married, the birth of her first grandchild and celebrating with her on her first birthday.

She is survived by her husband of 34 years Edward J. Sheehy, a son Ryan E. Sheehy, his wife Tiffany and their daughter Olivia of Williamsville, NY, a brother Roy Earley, his wife Diane and their children Alex and Elizabeth of Chelmsford, MA.
