Obituary: Longtime Windham Resident and Avid Collector, 68

Patricia Ann Jones died on Oct. 14.

Patricia Ann Jones, 68, of Windham, formerly of Lawrence died Monday, October 14, 2013 at her residence after a brief illness. Patricia was born in Greenville, SC, May 27, 1945, and was a daughter of the late John J, Sr. and Josephine (Donahue) Connor. She was raised and educated in Lawrence, and was a graduate of St. Patrick’s Girls School. She had been a resident of Windham for the past 12 years.

Patricia had been employed as a Tax Examiner with the Internal Revenue Service for over 25 years, prior to her retirement in December. She enjoyed collecting, especially owls and angels, and will forever be remembered for her love of spending every spare moment with her grandchildren.

Members of the family include four children, Joseph M. Jones and his girlfriend Sherri Maguire of Hampton, NH, Lynn Ann Jones of Derry, Daniel J. Jones and his wife Elaine of Merrimac, MA., and Timothy J.L. Jones and his wife Melissa of Windham, 11 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Meghan, Joshua, Caitlyn, Allyson, Timothy, Jr., Jessica, Hillary, Emily, Jon and Issabelle, a sister, Eileen Greenwood of Lawrence, and a brother, John J. Connor, Jr., and his wife Stephanie, of Methuen, two nephews, Stephen Conner and Kyle Greenwood, as well as several cousins.

Calling hours will be held Friday, October 18, 2013 from 6pm to 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, NH and a Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9am at St. Matthews Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH and burial will conclude at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
