Obituary: Former School Employee, 86

Mary Margaret Morrison lived in Windham late in life.

Mary Margaret Morrison, 86 of Windham, NH and formerly of Braintree, MA, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice House in Merrimack. Mary was born in Boston, MA on February 3, 1927, a daughter of the late Patrick Leo and Sarah Keane White. Mary was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School in Roxbury, MA and was employed by the Boston School Department as a valued school secretary for 25 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Marianne Morrison of Windham, NH; sons, Kenneth Morrison and his wife Janis of Carver, MA and John Morrison and his wife Joanne of Scituate, MA. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Michael Uga, Sarah Williams and her husband, Christopher, Nicole and Kayla Morrison; great-grandson Alexander Uga; one special niece, Maureen Clark and a special nephew, Robert Sprague as well as many other nieces and nephews. She will be missed by a host of dear friends including: Lisa and Peter, Lorraine, Tricia, Marie, Mary Ellen, Jane and of course Shad-O, Bessie, Sadie and Murray. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Thomas Morrison, a daughter, Paula Morrison Uga and a sister, Eileen White Sprague.

Calling hours were held on Tuesday, November 5th, 2013 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH from 4-7pm. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Wednesday, November 6th, 2013 at 10am at St. Matthew’s Church, 2 Searles Rd., Windham. Private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MSCPA, 350 South Huntington Ave., Boston, MA 02130.
