Mitt Romney Offers GOP Advice on Obamacare, Next Election

The Republican presidential nominee helped raise money for the NHGOP.

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, in one of his most prominent roles in New Hampshire since the GOP presidential nominee won the first-in-the-nation primary, advised Republicans to steer clear of shutting down the federal government in any challenge to the Affordable Care Act, the Huffington Post and Politico report Aug. 6.

Romney spoke at a fund-raiser near his summer estate on Lake  Winnipesaukee in Wolfeboro, N.H. It was a sold-out event to raise money for the Republican State Committee.
