Schedule for 'Best of Windham' Tournament

Editor's Note: There is no restriction to the amount of categories that businesses can be entered in, if that business falls under that particular type.

Should a business win multiple categories, it will only be moved on to the second round once, to keep the overall tournament fair.

We have officially released the schedule for our "Best of Windham" business tournament, with the first round lasting until May 21.

The businesses have been separated into 12 categories, with the final category being a Best of the Rest roundup of businesses that we either missed or that didn't fit into the first 11. 

Check out the schedule below as well as the attached flyer, which will be handed out to as many local businesses as possible within the next week.

SEMIFINALS (The Patch-tastic 4)

6/25: Semifinal 1 (Winner of Rounds 1-3 vs. Winner of Rounds 4-6)

7/2: Semifinal 2 (Winner of Rounds 7-9 vs. Winner of Rounds 10-12)

7/9: Championship Matchup

7/16: 'Best of Windham' Business Tournament Champion Announced

Voting periods for each category will run from the Monday of every week at 6 a.m. until the Friday at 5 p.m.

The tournament is being co-sponsored by the Windham Community Development Department.

At the end of the tournament, the winners from each of the 12 first round categories will receive a certificate of achievement, while the champion will receive a full-spread feature with a complete story, photos and video on Windham Patch.
