Storm May Drop A Foot of Snow on Windham

Heavy snow expected Thursday into Friday.

This story was written by Marc Fortier and posted by Ryan O'Connor:

Forecasters are predicting up to a foot of snow, and possibly more in some areas, on Thursday and Friday.

The storm is expected to begin during the day on Thursday and may drop 2-4 inches on Thursday. The snow should stretch into Friday with multiple forecasters predicting 6-12 inches of snow by the time the storm ends on Friday.

On Monday, some forecasters were predicting the possibility of a blizzard, but as of this moment the predictions are for 6-12 inches of snow.

7Weather’s Jeremie Reiner wrote that the snowfall totals will not “break records or be a blockbuster but it will impact travel on Thursday and again early Friday. It's a cold storm so there won't be any concern of rain/snow lines (even on the Cape, it's all snow). Due to arctic air, this storm will produce light & fluffy snow–easy for shoveling but easy for considerable blowing/drifting as winds will be from the northeast 15-35mph.”
