What's Going On In Windham This Week?

Here are five things you should know this week in Windham.

1. The weatherman says ... the warmer weather continues this week with temperatures in 40s through mid week before the mercury slowly creeps back into the 30s this weekend. Rain is in the forecast Tuesday into Wednesday and snow is possible Saturday.

2. Library closed for upcoming holiday. 
Don't forget, the Nesmith Public Library will be closed on Monday, Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Never fear, there are still plenty of fun activities on the agenda. Find this week's library calendar here.

3. Have a say on your tax dollar!
With Town Meeting season right around the corner, the Windham Board of Selectmen have scheduled a public hearing on the proposed Town Budget and Warrant for 2014 on Monday, Jan. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Community Development Department. Read the full hearing notice here. Then, on Friday, Jan. 17, the Windham School Board holds a public hearing on its proposed budget at 7 p.m.
