Here are six things you should know in Windham today.

1. Where's Batman when you need him? In the category of weird news ... Windham Police and Fire both responded to a 911 call Tuesday evening to address a bat flying around a home, according to an emergency alert received by Windham Patch. That is all. :)

2. Back to school blues. While some schools in New Hampshire and other parts of the country don't welcome students back until after Labor Day, Windham students head back a week early. 3. Catch a film at Fenway?
No plans tonight? It's a little last-minute, but why not be spontaneous and take the kids to catch a flick on the big screen at Fenway Park? While the Sox are in California closing out their series against the San Francisco Giants, the first ever movie night at Fenway, will feature a 20th anniversary screening of beloved 90s baseball flick The Sandlot. The movie will be featured on the Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision high-definition screen in center field. Gates open at 7 p.m., movie begins at 8. General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger (free for children younger than 2). Read more and buy tickets on the Red Sox website.

4. The weatherman says ... Temperatures continue their upward climb today and are expected to sneak into the low 90s with sunny skies. Tonight, Patchy fog after 5am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 63.

5. Planning ahead. The Windham Planning Board will also meet this week. They will convene on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Community Development Department. Discussions include an automobile service and repair shop site plan.
