Trick-or-Treat Moved to Saturday

This is the second straight year that Halloween trick-or-treating has been moved to November.

UPDATE, (7:01 p.m.): For the second straight year, Windham trick-or-treating will be impacted by a storm.

The town announced today that trick-or-treating will now take place on Saturday, Nov. 3. The original hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. will remain.

A decision on whether to change the scheduled hours for trick-or-treat will come at the end of the business day, according to the Windham administrative offices.

Police Chief Gerald Lewis will monitor the progress of utility companies and clean-up crews, and will make a final determination as to whether or not it will be postponed.

Last Halloween, Windham pushed back the annual festivities due to the impact of 'Snowtober.'
