OCT.30, (7:00 p.m.): Windham schools have been cancelled for Oct. 31.

OCT 31, (6:00 a.m.): PSNH has 3,248 customers out in Windham. That is 66.6 percent of its customers. 

OCT. 30, (5:00 p.m.): Windham trick-or-treat has been moved to Saturday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

OCT. 30, (11:00 a.m.): A school board public hearing and regular meeting scheduled for 7 p.m. in Windham has been postponed to Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. The meeting will still take place at Windham High School.

OCT. 30, (10:30 a.m.): A decision on whether or not to postpone trick-or-treat in Windham will be made at the end of the business day.

OCT. 30, (9:11 a.m.): As of now, 4,865 PSNH customers are out in Windham and 564 National Grid customers.

WMUR is also reporting that a man is in critical condition after a tree fell on his car in Windham last night.

Residents are reporting several businesses open this morning on Route 111, including Dunkin' Donuts, McDonalds, and those at The Commons.

OCT. 29, (8:51 p.m.): School cancelled in Windham for Tuesday, Oct. 30.

OCT. 29, (6:22 p.m.): Almost all of Windham PSNH customers are without power at this hour. Of the 4,897 customers, 4,870 are out.

OCT. 29, (2:27 p.m.): A total of 461 PSNH customers are now without power in Windham.

OCT. 29, (1:37 p.m.): PSNH is reporting that 78 customers are without power in Windham at this hour.

OCT. 29, (1:30 p.m.): All town offices will close at 2:30 p.m. due to the storm.

OCT. 29, (1:22 p.m.): Nesmith Library will close at 2 p.m. Teen Halloween drop-in craft is cancelled due to the storm.

OCT. 29, (12:08 p.m.): Due to the storm, the annual Windham Lions Halloween Children's Party has been cancelled for tonight.

OCT. 29, (11:52 a.m.): The NHGOP issued a statement asking residents to take down lawn signs in anticipation of the high winds from Hurricane Sandy:

As Hurricane Sandy quickly approaches today, we ask that all lawn signs be taken down so they are not blown away and cause damage. With the election a week away, the campaigns won't be able to replace all missing signs, and this way they will be ready for you to put back out after the storm passes.

OCT. 29, (11:01 a.m.): The Board of Selectmen meeting scheduled for 7 p.m has been cancelled for tonight. No information was given on when the agenda items will be addressed by the board.

OCT 29, (10:46 a.m.): The post office and Cobbett's Pond Plaza are open for business today, according to business owners.

Windham is already experiencing winds of close to 30 mph. Heavy rain is expected to start at 3 p.m. and last until 1 a.m. tomorrow. Showers will continue into tomorrow morning and afternoon.
