WHS Rolls Out Red Carpet for Governor, Executive Council
Gov. Maggie Hassan toured Windham High School Wednesday morning.
As part of a series of traveling monthly meetings, the New Hampshire Executive Council was joined by Gov. Maggie Hassan Wednesday at Windham High School.
Prior to the meeting, the Council and Hassan toured the school, visiting several classrooms and witnessing, first-hand, the school's many innovative and technologically-savvy practices.
Seniors Tim Raymond and Clairee Putnam, both leaders at WHS, led the tour.
District 3 Executive Councilor Chris Sununu said he chose Windham High School to host the meeting because the council had yet to gather at a public school and because he believes WHS speaks to the benefits of investing in education.
