Windham High School Recognized for Being Dropout Free

WHS continues to compile accolades.

Windham High School hasn't had a student drop out in the last two years.

Now, WHS has been recognized by the New Hampshire Department of Education for the rare and commendable achievement.

According to the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune, a ceremony was held in Concord this week, and Windham Superintendent Winfried Feneberg, WHS Principal Ryan Kaplan and WHS Dean of Guidance Julie Lichtmann attended the ceremony to accept the honor.

“We leave no opportunity for kids to drop between the cracks,” Feneberg told the Eagle-Tribune.

This week, Gov. Maggie Hassan and the New Hampshire Executive Council visited Windham High School and conducted a bi-monthly meeting in the school's auditorium.
